Dayton, PA – The Thursday (Aug. 20) racing at the Dayton (PA) Fair, for 3-year-old Pennsylvania Fair Sire Stakes horses, has officially been cancelled due to rain going through much of Pennsylvania.
A summary of the good 2-year-old racing held at Dayton on Wednesday (Aug. 19) will follow later today.
The Pennsylvania Fair Circuit goes immediately back into business Friday (Aug. 21) and Saturday (Aug. 22), racing at the Crawford County Fairgrounds at Meadville PA, with 1 p.m. cards for Friday’s 2-year-olds and Saturday’s 3-year-olds. These races have already been drawn.
The Circuit will then go on to Indiana (PA) next Thursday (Aug. 27) and Friday (Aug. 28) for action starting at 2 p.m., with declarations on Tuesday morning (Aug. 25).
