Batavia, NY — After no one hit the Pick-5 at Batavia Downs on Wednesday (Sept. 9), there will be a $538 carryover for that wager in the first race on Saturday (Sept. 12). The pool will be guaranteed at $3,000 through the USTA’s Strategic Wagering program.
As part of that program, TrackMaster will provide free full past performance program pages that can be downloaded (when they become available) at handicapping.ustrotting.com.
The Pick-5 at Batavia Downs is a 50-cent minimum wager that starts in race 1 and runs through race 5. Post time for the first race is 5 p.m.
There is also another opportunity to win big at The Downs on Saturday with a healthy carryover of $2,653 in the Jackpot Hi-5 in the 13th race, which is a 20-cent minimum wager.
Saturday’s card also features the weekly $13,500 Open Handicap pace and a pair of $11,000 Class AA events.
Post time for the first race on Saturday is 5 p.m.
