Harrington, DE – Evm Racing’s Wehadababyetzaboy ($2.60, Brandon Givens) continued his stellar 2026 with a 1:51.1 victory in the $22,500 Open Pace at Harrington Raceway.

The 7-year-old Sweet Lou gelding was heavily favored despite post 8 and proved the betting public right, erasing the outside post deficit early as he marched to an early lead near the opening quarter of 27.1 seconds. He would lead the field through fractions of 55.4 and 1:24.1 before sprinting the final quarter in 27 seconds for a two-length triumph over pocket-sitter Lou’s Starr. Steven’s Saloon was third.
Trained by Chuck Crissman Jr., Wehadababyetzaboy has banked nearly $220,000 this year and notched 12 victories, the best season to date in his career. He’s won four of his last five starts over Delaware’s half-mile racetrack.
Penelope Morgan and Dan Munson’s Ridin the Waves ($5, Tony Morgan) won his sixth straight race in 1:52.4, in a $11,500 event for $25,000 claiming pacers. The 4-year-old Downbytheseaside gelding is making a strong bid for claimer of the meet, after handling a step up from the $17,500 claiming level this week for co-owner/trainer Munson.
Driver Deshawn Sample Jr. recorded his first career driving win with a 1:54.2 win aboard Carrie Cameron and David Smith’s Sweetnfast ($11.20) in the sixth race. Sample, 26, is the son of trainer Deshawn Sample.
Tony Morgan had three wins on the card. Mike Cole, Brandon Givens, Troy Beyer and Corey Callahan each had a pair of victories.
Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule (post time 4:30 p.m.) through Oct. 21.
