Chester, PA — Christopher Dance N, a Kiwi son of Sweet Lou who won the #senditin Pace on 20th Anniversary Night here at Harrah’s eight days ago, came right back to repeat in Sunday afternoon’s (Sept. 20) $16,000 featured pace, rallying on the inside for a 1:49.1 victory.
Christopher Dance N’s chances appeared to improve when two late scratches in the feature moved his post from seven to five. The reduced entries also helped Harrington shipper Wehadababyetzaboy, already a 12-time winner in 2026 and now bidding for number 13 from post six instead of post eight. But both got a rough early time from Always A Thrill, who kept his foes two- and three-wide most of the :25.4 quarter before yielding; “Christopher” went to the top then yielded to the Delaware shipper.
Wehadababyetzaboy got a mini-breather to a :54.1 half, then had to speed up again to keep out Back Pocket Miki to and past the 1:21.4 three quarters, with the winner sitting the dream trip. In the stretch, driver Simon Allard took the winner of $302,105, now successful in 18 of 37 lifetime starts, inside of the leader and showed him clear road, and the two-holer overhauled his foe by three quarters of a length for trainer Enrico Robinson and Pollack Racing LLC.
The $13,500 co-featured pace for up-and-coming males saw the Tom Hill gelding Moneyhill GB present himself ready after 70 days away from the races, making the lead just after the first turn and then pacing home strongly in :55.1 with a :27.1 last quarter to equal his record of 1:51.1. Also a “serial winner” (18-for-46 lifetime), Moneyhill GB may get even better with more racing for trainer Robert Cleary and Haughfield Racing.
Two Sunday winners were achieved by a trio of “#2 drivers”: Jim Marohn Jr., George Napolitano Jr., and Art Stafford Jr. Trainers doubling were Julius Czermann Jr. and Darren Taneyhill.
Racing returns to Harrah’s Philadelphia on “Trottin’ Thursday” (Sept. 24) with a 12:25 p.m. card; last week’s feature winner Super Duper Cooper has been put “behind the eight ball” in this handicap headliner. Free Philly program pages are or will be available at www.phha.org.
