Heaven Hill, a filly by Face Time Bourbon out of Hillary Hill, by Muscle Hill, topped Friday’s (Sept. 25) Åby Yearling Sale with a winning bid of approximately $232,000.
Heaven Hill was bred by Andersen Racing Stable, and this is her fourth foal.
Hillary Hill is an unraced full sister to Danish trotting star Eric the Eel, who won the Harper Hanovers Lopp at Solvalla, posted a mark of 1:50.2f, and earned approximately $736,000.
The second-highest price was approximately $100,800 for Calgary Matters, a colt by Calgary Games out of the top Norwegian mare Rebella Matters, 1:53.0f ($695,700), by Explosive Matter.
Of the 125 yearlings that went through the ring, 91 sold for an average price of approximately $22,960 – an increase of no less than 40.1% from last year’s sale.
