Harrisburg, PA – Purses totaling $200,000 will be on the line at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows on Friday, Oct. 9, as the Pennsylvania Fair Sire Stakes Championships will be contested on a card starting at 5:10 p.m. (EDT). Each of eight divisions of stakes horses, earning their way into the Championships based on high finishes turned in through the summer on the fair circuit, will race for a purse of $25,000. The draw for the Championships will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Points were distributed on a 35-25-15-10-8-5-4 basis via order of finish; a race that was rained out brought a horse nine points. This was an unusually harsh summer weatherwise for the Fair Circuit; for the 2-year-olds, one set of races was lost for pacers and two for trotters, and for 3-year-olds three full cards and part of another were lost.
The following is a statistical summary of the top equine performers of the 2026 Pennsylvania Fair Season.

(*- 3-year-old trotting colt; this style is understood in the industry, and will be used here)

2025 DEFENDING CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS
TF PA Patricia was second in the points, and PF Dancin Sweet Heart was fourth; both were entered at Bloomsburg. They both seem likely to try to defend their Championship victories.
TC Green Shades and PC Papi Hour both raced at the fairs but may well have not earned enough points to make their Championship.
