Lexington, KY – Trainer Nancy Takter snagged the top two finishing spots of the $300,000 Grade 1 61st Kentucky Filly Futurity when her trainee She’s Moni overcame a second tier draw to seize the front and never look back for a lifetime-best equaling 1:50.1 victory over stablemate Madam Cheval.
Madam Cheval kicked from a pocket trip to finish second with Carve following suit from third and longshot R Ro rallying from well back for fourth.
Yannick Gingras drove She’s Moni, a homebred Walner-Thats All Moni filly for owners Brittany Farms LLC and Marvin Katz. She paid $8.14 to win.
