Paris, KY – Aetos Kronos S (Bold Eagle- Will of a Woman by Muscles Yankee) will take up stud duties at Tisbury Stud in Paris, KY at the conclusion of his racing career.
Owned by Jeff and Michael Snyder, Aetos Kronos S has competed in the biggest races and won against the best trotters in the world.
The classy son of Bold Eagle is the winner of 24 races (three Group 1s and four Group 2s) and earned an impressive $1,785,265 in his career. Known for speed, Aetos Kronos S won Sweden’s Hakan Wallner Memorial in world record time and also set a track and Canadian record to win his $50,000 Maple Leaf Trot elimination in the first sub-1:50 mile on Canadian soil going 1:49.4
With a pedigree as strong as his race record, Aetos Kronos S’s sire Bold Eagle is one of the most notable race horses in history. Bold Eagle is a two-time winner of France’s Prix d’Amérique and third richest trotter behind Varenne and Moni Maker.
Hailing from the Conch maternal line, his dam side is just as impressive. Aetos Kronos S is out of stakes winning mare Will of a Woman and half brother to multiple stakes winner Woman’s Will (1:54.1, earnings of $602,991) and producer of Woman of Passion (1:50.1, $650,447).
Third dam Conch is one of the most influential mares in trotter breeding. Conch is the dam of Vikings Kronos who is widely known as the creator of Europe’s modern trotter. He is the sire and grand sire of many top studs in the world today.
“This is very exciting for me, my family, my farm and Kentucky standardbred industry” says Austin Luttrell, owner of Tisbury Stud. “To stand a horse as high caliber as Aetos Kronos for my first stallion is a dream come true.”
“Aetos Kronos has been an amazing horse for us starting as a top 2-year-old in Sweden.” said owner Jeff Snyder. “Unfortunately, he lost more than two years of racing at the time of his being in top form due to an injury. We then decided to bring him to America after two years of inactivity and competed the last two years (at 9 and 10 years old) competitively against the best horses in North America.
“We are so excited to find a great home for Aetos Kronos and look forward to buying his yearlings.”
Aetos Kronos S will stand for a stud fee of $6,000. Please contact Austin Luttrell to book your mare at 859-397-6639.
