The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) announces that Hanover Shoe Farms has donated a breeding to Explosive Matter, to benefit the MSOA’s Collegiate Scholarship Fund.

Hanover Shoe Farms has been a longtime partner with the MSOA’s scholarship program, donating breedings for the past several years that have helped the sons and daughters of area horsemen with their college expenses.

“We can’t thank Hanover enough for their continued support,” said MSOA President Rich Gillock. “Our scholarship program would not be as successful as it is without the support of partners like Hanover.”

Explosive Matter took a lifetime mark of 1:52.3 and earned over $1.5 million in his career. The son of Cantab Hall stands for a fee of $5,000.

The breeding will be auctioned on the website OnGait.com starting today (Thursday, Feb. 22) at 12 noon. The auction will run for seven days.
