Dani’s birthday wish is for donations to Pacing for the Cure

by Jeff and Janine Gesek, co-founders Pacing for the Cure

When Jeff and Janine Gesek heard about 10-year-old Dani’s selfless birthday wish they were touched.

Dani is hoping that everyone across the country will get involved and donate $10 to Pacing for the Cure in honor of her 10th birthday on Thursday (Feb. 15). The only birthday present she wants is to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), as she has seen firsthand the toll MS can take on a loved one. She was only 5-years-old when her mother Tina was diagnosed with MS.

When this special 10-year-old child from Maryland heard her mother talk about an exceptional horse named Mr. Bill G, who was Pacing for a Cure for MS in Delaware, she immediately became his biggest fan.

The human-horse connection that inspired the Geseks to start the nonprofit organization, Pacing for the Cure, has now reached across the Eastern Coast and touched a young child’s heart and spurred her to action.

Tina says, “MS is horrible, but Mr. Bill G is trying to make it a little less horrible until they figure out how to cure it.”

Dani wishes all to join her and Mr. Bill G in their determination to build awareness about the debilitating effects of MS and find a cure for her mom and others living with MS.

Please make her birthday wish come true by going to Pacingforthecure.org/donate and placing your $10 donation today.
