Betting Line makes big move in this week’s Poll

Freehold, NJ — Three-year-old male pacer Betting Line, who won the Battle of the Brandywine with a world-record performance last Saturday, surges four spots to the No. 2 position in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.

Wiggle It Jiggleit, the runner-up to Rockin Ron in the Prix d’Ete, remains No. 1.

Also gaining ground is 3-year-old male trotter Southwind Frank, who moves from eighth to sixth following his win in the Colonial.

The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The U.S. Harness Writers Association votes in December on all division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.

Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
