According to sources, Roger Hammer began experiencing pain Wednesday evening (Aug. 28) after being involved in a traffic accident earlier in the day on his way to the Indiana (Pa.) Fair.

After initially refusing treatment at the scene, he later went to his local hospital after experiencing pain. It was then discovered that he had three cracked vertebrae in his neck.

As of 12 Noon Thursday, he remained hospitalized but was expecting to be released later today.

Passenger Vickie Mock was treated and released yesterday with broken ribs.

Only one horse out of six in his Eby Trailer suffered a minor cut. All others were uninjured.
