Tirade Hanover won his NYSS split in a time of 1:55.4.

The Tyler Raymer trained sophomore recently added trotting hobbles and has been sharp ever since. On Tuesday night, Jim Morrill, Jr. moved Tirade Hanover first over and he just kept plugging away before drawing away late from rival Pine Credit (Brandon Simpson) and prevailing in 1:55.4.

Tirade Hanover’s victory in the $76,925 Sire Stakes division was the fastest win among the stakes races on the evening.

Crazy About Pat (Crazed-Dibrizzi) was the easiest winner of the night as he and Hall of Famer Cat Manzi powered away from the competition to win in 1:57.3 by open lengths to move the sophomore’s earnings to $200,995 this season.

Rolls Blue Chip (Credit Winner-Reven Crown) and Wally Hennessey pulled off the stakes races’ biggest upset as the Thomas Durand trained colt went wire-to-wire in 1:57, scoring at odds of 7-1.

The Sire Stakes will return to town on Saturday night (Aug. 10) when 2-year-old filly pacers highlight the card.

Live racing continues on Wednesday night (Aug. 7) at Saratoga with a first post time of 7:05 p.m.
