Monticello, NY — Haroun Hanover scored his 13th seasonal victory on Tuesday (June 4) at Monticello Raceway and is now second on the North American leaderboard in races won this year, trailing Tracys Song, who won for the 18th time Monday.

Another Mighty M pacer, Worthy’s Magic, won for the 12th time this season on Tuesday and is currently fourth on the N.A. leaderboard.

Haroun Hanover won for the 13th time in 2013.

Jimmy Marohn, Jr. once again handled the driving chores behind Haroun Hanover for trainer Danny Gill and as usual he sent the veteran pacer to the front and made every pole a winning one en route to a two length victory in a 1:56.3 clocking.

The 7-year-old Bettor’s Delight gelding is owned by James Hall and Edward Hall.

Worthys Magic, from the Peter Pellegrino barn, went a similar trip for driver Greg Merton, but in that contest Merton let the parked-out Rocky Regal and driver Kyle DiBenedetto get the lead as they neared the quarter pole and then immediately retook command and coasted home an easy 1-1/2 length winner over Rocky Regal in a time of 1:57.2.

The 7-year-old Cam’s Magic Trick gelding is owned by the Pellegrino Stable of Florida.

Now Mighty M pacers are currently one, two and four on the North American leaderboard in races won this year.
