Yonkers, NY — Yonkers Raceway has announced a new “Jackpot Next Door” claiming series, for $20,000 claiming pacers of both genders.

The Friday night series offers four preliminary legs beginning June 28 (each race worth $20,000), with a $50,000 added final and $30,000 guaranteed consolation, both going July 26.

Claiming is permitted in a horse’s first two series starts, with a 50 percent premium for the second series start.

Nomination fee is $500, with a deadline of June 15.

Nominations forms are available in all the familiar places, including www.yonkersraceway.com, the nightly live racing program and sooner rather than later in various harness publications and their online sites.
