Indiana, PA — The Pennsylvania Fair Harness Horsemen’s Association hosted a general membership meeting on Sunday (Jan. 13) at the Indiana (PA) Fairgrounds.

At the meeting, all current officers were re-elected.

The group also voted to make donations to both the Standardbred Retirement Foundation and the New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program.

The PA Fair Horsemen’s Association reminds members that it is time to renew for 2013. Cost remains just $20 and we invite all owners, trainers and drivers that compete on the circuit to become part of the group. Applications are available at www.pafairharness.com.

Note also that you must be a member of the PAFHHA and the Pennsylvania Harness Horsemen’s Association to have racebike insurance at the fairs.

The PAFHHA also would like to note that the Pennsylvania Fair Convention will take place in Hershey, Pa., at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center next week. There will be a Sire Stake and Quaker Stake meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 24). The meeting is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
