Arrangements announced for Stew Firlotte

Columbus, OH — A mass will be held for Stewart ‘Stew’ Firlotte, who died August 15, 2012, on Wednesday (August 22) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, 4001 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, Florida.

A celebration of his life and remarkable achievements will follow the service.

At Stew’s request he was cremated and the ashes placed in his Little Brown Jug trophy. He will be laid to rest at Jacquet River, New Brunswick, Canada, next to his parents.

For his many Canadian friends a memorial service will be held on August 29 at Mohawk Racetrack. The time will be announced.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Vocations Race Horse Adoption Program, Laura, Ohio, or The Standardbred Retirement Foundation, New Jersey.
