Columbus, OH — Scioto Downs canceled its Friday (June 29) racing program because of the extreme heat and humidity that continues to envelope central Ohio.

The health and safety of the horses and people are of paramount importance.

Racing is slated to resume on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m.
