Another Hanover won a tight photo in a NYSS division on Sunday.
In the closest race of the day, the Art Major-Allamerican Cognac filly Another Hanover won by a neck over Marianade Hanover and Zellweger Bluechip, who finished in a dead heat for place. All three fillies had the lead at one point with Another Hanover getting up as they crossed the line.
Major Look made it two for two in NYSS action in the young season. Going off as the heavy favorite, driver Jeff Gregory brushed off an early push from Stage It Right and put the Art Major-Band Of Emeralds filly on cruise control over the sloppy track.
The fastest mile belonged to the Casie Coleman trained Eighthunrdolarbilll (Bettor’s Delight-Mythical) who traveled the mile in 1:56.4. Driver Scott Zeron got a perfect trip behind eventual third place finisher Ramalama before pulling away down the stretch to win by 8-1/4 lengths.
In the four Excelsiors divisions the winners were Table Games, Weekend Getaway, Pansphobic and Blows Me Away.
