Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 6-9, Friday, May 18, 2012
My $36 ticket didn’t hit Saturday night, reducing my profit on the Championship meet to $22.50. Tonight’s sequence is very tough.
For the championship meet I’m going to try more realistic, and more creative, tickets to see how that works out but be forewarned that even with much more of a spread, it’s still hard to hit a Pick-4 at this track.
$1 play: 45689/159/56/69 = $60
Analysis:
Race 6: This race is a wide open 3-year-old filly trot. I’m using five of them. I should have it covered unless breakers mess up the race.
Race 7: I’m using three here. (1) Camille is first time Burke barn and dropping out of the Woodbine Open. (5) Radar Contact has won her last two starts over this track. (9) P Note Blue Chip ships in from Yonkers where she has been facing tougher. These three give me a good shot to clear the race.
Race 8: This is a wide open NW6500. I’m using two, (5) Massive Drama drops and has speed. (6) Live Jazz comes off a game first over effort against similar and gets Tetrick.
Race 9: This is a nice field of mares. I’m using (9) Billie Bluechip off the drop, she picks up Sears. (6) Shabalabadingdong also drops and comes from a high percentage barn.
