Bob Pandolfo offers his picks for the $50,000 Pick-4 at Meadowlands Racetrack on Jan. 6, part of the U.S. Trotting Association Strategic Wagering Program. Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 6-9, Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 Here we go — a new season, new track ownership, and the turns are now banked the way they used to be. I’ll keep tabs on my Pick-4 plays. $2 play: 46/6/12/210 = $16 Analysis: 6th Race: (4) Cuz She Can is all class and she ended the year on an uptick. I’ll also use (6) Best Boss because she’ll be the best price of the main contenders and she is proven over this track. 7th Race: (6) Athleticlyinclined is an obvious top pick, dropping out of the Yonkers Open for the Burke barn. There are several ways you can go here but I’ll single this one. 8th Race: (2) Soapy Sap handles this track well but I’ll also use (1) Newport Volo who won here last year and may be some value in this competitive trot. 9th Race: This is an interesting race. I’ll use my top pick, (2) Beau Rivage N, who was used hard against a bias in last at Yonkers. (10) Splendid Kisser is the fastest horse in the race and comes off a solid qualifier.
