Yonkers, NY — On Thursday evening, October 8, the Standardbred Owners Association of New York presented veteran Yonkers Raceway driver Stephane Bouchard with a commemorative plaque evidencing the Montreal native’s recent achievement (Oct. 2) of the 7,000 win plateau.

Making the presentation was SOA President Joseph Faraldo and his cousin of the same name, longstanding SOA member Joseph Faraldo. The latter was a driver-trainer fixture at Yonkers and Roosevelt Raceway from 1962 through 1982.

Two other regulars at the Hilltop oval approaching career milestones are Jeff Gregory (6,000 wins) and Jim Panteleano (5,000 wins).
