Ft. Washington, MD –– The ninth race on Friday at Rosecroft, the $7,400 Winners Over feature, brings six successful distaff pacers to the gate -– including the winner of last week’s edition, Angela Gold N. Wiring to the win in 1:55 last Friday, the six-year-old In The Pocket mare will leave from post six. With trainer Frank Milby unavailable to drive, reinsman Corey Braden will guide Angela Gold N against a very competitive field. The mare, owned by the partnership of Kelly, Rafanelli and Mancini, is the early second choice at 5-2 odds. Lofty Limits, the 2-1 morning line favorite, will have her first charted line with Rosecroft’s leading driver John Wagner in the sulky. Coming from post five, the trainee of George Bartlett finished third against these last week, stopping the clock in 1:55.4. The seven-year-old daughter of Walton Hanover currently holds a yearly record of nine on-the-board finishes from 10 starts. Bartlett and Mindel own the 2004 Rosecroft Horse of the Year. Silly Tune (Jerry Nock), Nuclear Folks (Donnie Russell), Don’t Curse Me (Cliff Green) and newcomer Miss Mackintush (Victor Kirby) complete the competitive field. Post time for Friday’s 15 race slate will be the usual 7:20 p.m. at Rosecroft.
