LAST WEEK, EARLY LINE, HORSE, TRAINER, OWNER, THE SCOOP 1, 2-1, ROCKNROLL HANOVER, Brett Pelling, Jeff Snyder and Lothlorien Equest., “He definitely benefited from the first week and raced more alertly,” said Pelling after 1:52.3 NJ Classic elim win. “He warmed up better and was just more in race mode, and that’s what I figured was going to happen.” 2, 5-2, VILLAGE JOLT, Ed Hart, Jeff Snyder and Arlene & Jules Siegel, “Everything seems fine with him,” said Hart. “The track was pretty sloppy, but I’m a little disappointed with his effort (3rd in NJ Classic elim). I thought he should have been second. We’re looking forward to a good effort this Saturday.” 3, 4-1, STONEBRIDGE REGAL, Bob McIntosh, Robert Kaufman, Angie Stiller, Bob McIntosh, W Springtime Racing, Won his Provincial Cup elim in 1:52.2, fifth straight win. “I was pleased with his win, and he got another nice, easy race in him,” said McIntosh. “Anytime that happens you appreciate it. He came to the wire as fresh as he started.” 4, 6-1, FOUR STARZ SISCO, Dave Sabatelli, Four Starzzzz Stb., Broke in Provincial elim. “He had a lot of trouble handling the turns at Windsor,” said Sabatelli. “He had never been off a mile track. He just wanted to keep going straight into the turn. He came out of the race sound and we’ll regroup.” 5, 8-1, ALLAMERICAN INCA, Noel Daley, Adam Victor & Son , Won Hempt elim at Pocono, 1:52.1. “He was very good first over,” Daley noted. “He was a little grabby and headstrong, but he was anxious in his first start and that’s good.” 6, 10-1, SYNCRO’S Z TAM, Patrick Lachance, MJGB Racing Stb and Pat Lachance, third in Hempt elim. “I didn’t see the race myself, but it was a good first start for him,” noted Lachance. “He had late pace and we’ll look forward to the final.” 7, 12-1, TEAM HUTCH, Homer Hochstetler, Joy & Bonnie Hutchison, three wins in 2005. “He was very, very sharp and won (Cardinal elim at Balmoral) easily,” said Hochstetler. The only problem we have with him is he’s attached to his groom (who) can’t leave him in the paddock. He goes ballistic.” 8, 15-1, CAM’S FOOL, Brett Pelling, Jeff Snyder and Lothlorien Equest., third in NJ Classic elim. “You’re talking about green horses racing over a surface that certainly looks different to them,” said Pelling of the sloppy track. “He swung off his cover and was beaten a half length in a 1:51 mile, which was pretty good.” 9, 15-1, SHANGHAI PHIL, Dustin Jones, Chemvest Holding, Hudson Stb., Dustin Jones Stb., fifth at Woodbine. “He was a little grabby leaving out of there, put in a couple of steps in the final turn, so I took in his hobbles up one hole,” Jones said. “I’m going to do some work on his knees this week, should be a lot smoother.” 10, 20-1, Runover Feeling, Kelly O’Donnell, Jack Tramonte and Ed Mullinax, No race last week. “I’m going to race him somewhere on Lasix for the first time,” said O’Donnell. “I’ve got to get a start into him, maybe Pocono; I’ve got three in the Hempt Final.” Date, Stakes, Site, Winner, Owner, Trainer, Driver, 2nd Horse, 3rd Horse, Time 2/26, Jr Trendsetter, M, Jenna’s Choice, Silva, Pattick & Borgo, Mark Silva, Brian Sears, JJ’s Gazette, Mega Hall, 1:52 3/25, Matt’s Scooter, M, Jenna’s Choice, Silva, Pattick & Borgo, Mark Silva, Brian Sears, Gryffindor, You Tell Gordy, 1:50.1 4/22, RJ Suslow, M, Jenna’s Choice, Silva, Pattick & Borgo, Mark Silva, Brian Sears, Gryffindor, Mega Hall, 1:50.3 4/30, Berry’s Creek Prep, M, Jenna’s Choice, Silva, Pattick & Borgo, Mark Silva, Brian Sears, PAT’S ALL STAR, Jo Pa’s Shark, 1:51.3 5/7, Berry’s Creek, M, FOUR STARZ SISCO, Four Starzzzz Stables, Dave Sabatelli, Eric Ledford, PAT’S ALL STAR, MICHAEL’S MARVEL, 1:50.3 5/21, NJ Classic Elim, M, LOAD THE DICE, Brittany & Daisy Acres, Chris Ryder, David Miller, Jo Pa’s Shark, CAM’S FOOL, 1:51 5/21, NJ Classic Elim, M, ROCKNROLL HANOVER, Snyder & Lothlorien, Brett Pelling, Brian Sears, Strong Player, VILLAGE JOLT, 1:52.3 5/28, Hempt, PcD 5/28, NJ Classic, M 5/29, Provincial Cup, WR 6/4, Burlington, Moh 6/11, NA Cup Elim, Wdb 6/18, North Am Cup, Wdb 6/25, Hoosier Cup, HoP 6/25, NJSS Final, M 7/2, Jersey Cup, M 7/9, M Pace Elims, M 7/16, Meadowlands Pace, M MEADOWLANDS PACE ELIGIBLES IN CAPS — Supplements are permitted for $100,000.
