Columbus, OH — Scioto Downs will host the richest night of racing in Ohio in 2004 on Ohio Super Night, Saturday, September 11th, with over $1 million in purses on the card.
For just the seventh time, all eight $100,000 Ohio Sires Stakes Championship Finals for two and three-year-olds will be held on a single card.
Scioto hosted the inaugural Super Night in 1998 and the event moved to Northfield Park in 1999. Since then, the event has alternated each year between Northfield and Scioto.
Also on Super Night is the 35th Annual $200,000 Jug Preview, which annually attracts top three-year-old pacing colts from all over for the last prep before the Little Brown Jug.
This year’s Jug Preview has drawn two divisions, and will be contested during the ninth and tenth races of the 12 race card. Post positions for the two divisions are as follows:

Super Night will also be the night of our mystery voucher giveaway, with a total of $25,000 in cash up for grabs.
Vouchers were sent out to approxomately 4,000 patrons/residents of the central Ohio region and are redeemable only on Super Night.
Each voucher is guaranteed to be worth at least $2.00.
Along with the mystery voucher giveaway, Scioto Downs will also be distributing special, commemorative Ohio Super Night hats to the first 2,500 patrons with paid admission (limit one per person).
