Harrington, DE — A rich field of eight of the sport’s top Free For All campaigners will compete in the $135,000 “War on the Shore” Invitational this coming Monday at Harrington Raceway. Perretti Racing Stable and John Rizzo’s Royal Mattjesty was installed as the morning line favorite from post two. The 5-year-old Matt’s Scooter stallion is harness racing’s newest millionaire after last week’s 1:51 win in the $125,000 Battle of Lake Erie. He won in a career best 1:484 on May 1 at the Meadowlands in a leg of the Classic series. Sam Jacobs and Charlie Burris’ Cambest Prince was snagged at the wire by Royal Mattjesty and will have his chance at revenge from post six. Jose Alejandre and Mark Silva’s Landmark Hall drew post eight after having a string of five consecutive victories -– two in sub-1:50 -– snapped at the Meadowlands with a game second place effort. Frederick and Anita Fialkow and Ronald Pilatsky’s Glenmark Lucky is fresh off two impressive wins in 1:503 and 1:513 at Rockingham Park and drew post three. Gordan and Karin Bryan’s Token Favorite got a start over the track last week, finishing third in an Open for trainer Mark Harder. Former 3-year-old standout, now 4, David Rahal and Alvin Jacobson’s All American Captor drew post five after setting brutal fractions in last week’s Battle of Lake Erie. Rounding-out the field will be savvy veteran Whosurboy for owner Ed Mullinax, who has banked nearly $150,000 already this year, and local standout Future Treasure for owners Mitch and Pearl Fisher. Future Treasure has five wins at the Harrington spring meet and is the only horse in the field with a win over the track in 2004. The prestigious field of eight has a total lifetime combined bankroll of nearly $4.5 million. The race has been slated as the sixth race on a 15 race program, which will also include an $18,500 Open and a $16,500 Delaware Special.
