Columbus, OH — On a damp, rainy night, Belle Legrand brought a ray of sunshine to trainer/driver Dan Reynolds after taking the $10,000 final of the Tish Arledge Trot in 2:004 at Scioto Downs. The three-year-old Striking Sahbra filly drew the two hole, but quickly darted to the front at the start. After cutting fractions of :30, 1:013 and 1:31, Reynolds and company found themselves leading the field heading to the final quarter. Trotting home in :294, Belle Legrand held off Call Me Hazel and Jeff Fout by three-quarters of a length for the gate-to-wire victory, her fourth win in seven starts on the season.
