Jett Away was a winner in Tuesday’s Filly and Mare Open.
Driven by trainer Bret Brittingham, the four-year-old Dream Away mare quarter-poled to the front and set all the fractions in her one length win over Miss Fish Lady and Sandtana Score N.
Owned by George Brem, Mike Nichols and Bob McGee, it was her third win in four starts. She equaled the four-year-old track record for mares two weeks prior, winning in 1:54.
Carol Karter’s Kadijah won the $11,000 subfeatured winners over in 1:544.
Drivers Steve Warrington, Jim Morand and Brad Hanners each had three winners on the program.
The 15th and final race on the card was canceled due to a severe thunderstorm.
Racing continues Wednesday with a 5:30 p.m. post time.
