They were each given a book to read and went to four different classes reading their story and answering questions about themselves and their careers.
The kids were full of questions ranging from when they started driving and how many races they have won to their favorite NFL teams.
The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association handed out bookmarks that have the Meadows racing schedule on them highlighting Family Fun Nights so that the children can come see the drivers in action.
“The MSOA is lucky to get to be a part of such a great program for kids. This is the fifth year that drivers have been invited to come read to the kids,” said Dawnelle Mock, the marketing director of the MSOA. “The kids are so curious and fascinated by the drivers and it’s great to watch the drivers interact with the kids.”
