ABC Again, Explosive Jet head opening Monday Dover feature

Dover, DE — ABC Again and Explosive Jet fresh from wins last start head the opening feature as Dover Downs begins its 49th season on Monday, Oct. 30. Post time is 4:30 p.m.

A recent addition to the Josh Green barn, ABC Again, a winner of his last two starts since arriving from Indiana, will be driven by Ross Wolfenden from post one in the $14,000 winners of six feature trot. Denise Davis’ Explosive Jet who has been razor sharp with a win preceded by a third and a second, will be reined by Allan Davis for trainer Tyler Davis.

Iron Mine Branch’s Trust Fund Baby and Art Stafford Jr. and a pair of twice winners of their last three outings, Tate Lewis’ Summajestic, with Vic Kirby, and Moonshine Lavec, owned by trainer Erika Paradee and Francisca Munoz, driven by meet defending champion Corey Callahan, lead the opposition.

The rest of the eight horse field is made up of Lou Catana’s The Muscle Touch, handled by Tony Morgan; Providence West’s Nefarious, trained and driven by Kim Vincent and Nebraska Jack with Russ Foster driving for Eric Good and trainer Gary Simpson.

Simulcasting of harness and thoroughbred racing is available daily from 12 Noon until 12 Midnight. There is no charge for general parking and admission at Dover Downs.
