Wilkes-Barre, PA — Along with the $100,000 Sebastian K Invitational Trot, some additional feature events have been added to the race card for the Super Stakes Saturday card (Aug. 22) at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono.

There will be a $50,000 USTA Invitational Pace and $50,000 Invitational Mare Pace. Also carded will be a non-winners of $50,000 in 2015 for both Pennsylvania sired 3-year-old colt and gelding pacers and for 3-year-old filly pacers. The purses for both these events will be $30,000. Preference will be given to the Pennsylvania sired horses that enter for the Battle of the Brandywine 3-year-old Open pace and the Valley Forge 3-year-old filly pace that do not get into the consolations due to not having enough seasonal earnings.

At the present time, there are still two vacant spots remaining for the Sebastian K. Following this weekend of racing, those who have not yet confirmed their commitment should contact the race office as early as possible.
