Vernon, NY – Aime Hanover (Rene Goulet) and Little Instigator (Leon Bailey) captured the co-features at Vernon Downs on Saturday (Oct. 18).
Aime Hanover ($14.68) wins the featured $6,500 pace

Kisses From Above (Adam Capizzano) went straight to the front and led to the quarter in :27 and to the half in :56. Go With The Flow (Leon Bailey) took control to three quarters in 1:24.
As they reached the stretch, second-place finisher Go With The Flow was joined by third-place finisher Playing Through (Truman Gale). Aime Hanover made his move flying three-wide to win in a lifetime best 1:52.2.
Aime Hanover is a 7-year-old gelding by Betting Line. He is trained by Goulet for owners Darryl and Sherri Mason. It was his fifth win this season and his 18th career victory.
Little Instigator ($3.12) takes the featured $6,500 fillies & mares’ pace

Kissapotomus (Dustin Miller) was first to the quarter in a smoking :25.3. The Hunt Is On (John MacDonald) came first-up to challenge going down the backstretch. Kissapotomus was first to the half in :54.3. Little Instigator made her move first-up going around the final turn and was first to three quarters in 1:23.3.
As they reached the stretch, Little Instigator made it a race for place winning in 1:53.1. Ladysmith (Dylan Huckabone-Miller) was second best. Ladytario (Frank Affrunti) finished third.
Little Instigator is a 3-year-old filly by Heston Blue Chip. She is trained by Joe Skowyra for owners William and Sarah MacMillan. It was her ninth win this year and her 12th career victory.
Leon Bailey had a driving hat trick. Michelle Warner had a training hat trick.
Vernon Downs returns to live racing on Friday (Oct. 24) with a post time of 5:05 p.m.
