Allard is honored at Yonkers

Yonkers, NY — Trainer Rene Allard reached 2,000 career wins last month at Yonkers Raceway. At age 26, Allard became the youngest trainer to achieve that mark.

Standardbred Owners Association of New York President Joe Faraldo presented Rene Allard with a plaque.

On Tuesday night (Sept. 24) at Yonkers Raceway, Standardbred Owners Association of New York President Joe Faraldo presented Allard with a plaque for the milestone.

Also pictured are SOA Trustee and Board Member Chris Wittstruck, SOA Trustee and Secretary John Brennan and Allard’s girlfriend, Katie Remmerswaal.

Allard is currently second in the Yonkers trainer’s standings with 93 wins from 371 starters.
