Allnight Micki goes all the way in Scioto feature

Leaving from post four, Allnight Micki (Aaron Merriman) charged out of the gate. Confident after two leg wins in the conditioned mini series for fillies staked to the Buckeye Stallion Series, Allnight Micki secured this victory in wire-to-wire fashion. The 3-year-old daughter of Downbytheseasode set fractions in :27, :56.2, and 1:23.3 before tripping the finish in 1:51.2. Allnight Micki bested Parklane Unique (Trevor Smith) by a neck with Love Me Hill (Brett Miller) third.

After spending her 2-year-old year on the Ohio Sires Stakes level, Allnight Micki dropped down to mid-tier racing for 2022. With eight wins on the season, the class move is proving to be just what she needed. Trained by Tim Twaddle, the sophomore filly has now earned $131,957 in her racing career. Allnight Micki is owned in partnership by Twaddle and Micki Rae Stables.

Live racing returns Thursday (July 28) to Eldorado Scioto Downs. Three divisions of the Ohio Sires Stakes for 2-year-old filly trotters highlight the program. First post is 3:15 p.m. For more information on the facility and live racing season, visit the Eldorado Scioto Downs website.
