Amazing Racer movie released; formerly known as Shannon’s Rainbow

Freehold, NJ — A new movie, Amazing Racer, set in a harness racing setting, has been released and is available exclusively at walmart.com.

Amazing Racer, which stars Daryl Hannah, Clare Forlani, Julianne Michelle, Louis Gossett Jr. and Eric Roberts, was filmed at and around The Meadows in southwestern Pennsylvania in 2008 and originally titled Shannon’s Rainbow (www.shannonsrainbow.com).

It tells the story of a teenage girl who finds the mother she never knew, befriends a wise horse trainer and learns to overcome hardships and emotional trauma by helping the trainer, played by Louis Gossett, Jr., train a filly named Rainbow.
