Announcing Trotting 4 Charity

by Ryan Macedonio

Announcing Trotting 4 Charity. Plans are being organized and coordinated across North America to have this special event to benefit varying charities.

Here are the basics: drivers and trainers will all choose a personal charity, and will wear a custom made replica jersey of their own colors, with the participating charity logo displayed on the jersey. During the event weekend (we didn’t want to restrict to one specific day because of certain track race schedules), drivers will race in their jerseys. Afterwards, an overall auction will be held, and all proceeds from each jersey will be donated to the driver’s personal charity. Once the winning fan donates his bid to the charity, they win the jersey.

Simple as that.

The first, and hardest step, will be gathering all of the participating drivers and trainers. There is no limit on who can participate, as it all goes to charity. Since, the design and production process will take weeks to complete, it is imperative to complete this step quickly if we want to have the event on the tentative dates of May 18-20. Therefore the deadline for all orders will be Monday (April 16).

Please contact Ryan Macedonio (ryan@trotcast.com) for more information and to place an order. Each jersey will be $100 for production fees (tax, design, shipping included). To the right is a preview of what one of the jerseys will look like.

I need help contacting as many drivers as possible to make this event as big as possible. I do not have everyone’s contact, so spread the word and let’s make this a huge deal.
