Lexington, KY – The Stable of Memories, the historic Round Barn located adjacent to the Red Mile in Lexington, will host its annual party on Sunday night, Sept. 28, from 6-9 p.m. The Lexington Selected Yearling Sale begins the following night, Monday, Sept. 29.
This year’s Stable of Memories event will honor Kathryn “Kit” Glenn McKinley for her many years of dedication to preserving Floral Hall, the original name of the Round Barn, and its collection of harness racing memorabilia. The evening will include music and a barbeque buffet dinner.

The Stable of Memories Museum, featuring the trophy collection of George Segal’s Brittany Farms, will be open on Red Mile race days from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Some horse memorabilia, old magazines and art will be available for purchase.
