Grove City, OH – The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association (OHHA) is now accepting applications for the Equine Vocation Scholarship, designed to support students pursuing careers in the equine industry.
The scholarship will be awarded to an applicant pursuing a career specifically within the equine industry. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and currently enrolled in a degree program, certificate program, or vocational training related to the equine field. Preference will be given to Ohio residents.
The Equine Vocation Scholarship is open to individuals studying in both certificate and technical programs, such as farrier training, veterinary technicians, or equine massage therapy, as well as college-level programs in areas like pre-veterinary studies, equine-assisted therapy, or equine business management. The goal of the scholarship is to support those who will contribute to and serve this vital part of the agricultural industry.
Applications must be postmarked by Dec. 1, 2025. Submissions can be mailed to OHHA, 2237 Sonora Drive, Grove City, OH 43123, emailed to kpoma@ohha.com, or faxed to 614-221-8723. Members of the OHHA Board of Directors Banquet Committee will review all applications received by the deadline.
The 2025 scholarship recipient will be recognized during the upcoming Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026.
