DeSoto, WI — The American Standardbred Adoption Program, Inc. will be showcasing their retired Standardbred race horses at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin for the Mid West Horse Fair on April 20-22.

Susan Wellman, director, is proud to be personally part of the demonstrations which will take part on Friday, April 20, in the coliseum at 1:45 p.m., Saturday, April 21, at 8:10 a.m., and Sunday, April 22, at 2:30 p.m.

Horses taking part in the demonstrations for this year’s “Rock N Ride” theme include Janimal, Randi, Sporty Bunny, Tara’s Melody, Steelin Apples, Christopher Too – N, Kelly’s Chance, and The Sky’s The Limit.

Janimal will perform to “Crazy Frog” with 8-year-old Rachel astride, portraying a princess. Randi will perform with wings of a dove while Susan portrays Stevie Nicks in the Belladonna song, “Edge of Seventeen.” Rumor has it that Springtime Beauty will carry Elvis, and the other horses will surprise us with the rock stars and legends who will ride them.

Ken McNabb, true west cowboy and trainer who has a satellite television special on RFD TV will be using Springtime Beauty’s offspring, Asti, in a riding demonstration and Sporty Bunny for an obstacle course driving demonstration sometime during the weekend.

This is ASAP’s eighth year at one of the nation’s largest horse expos. Other expos where ASAP Inc. horses have performed this year have included Illinois Horse Fair, Iowa Horse Fair, Black Hills Horse Expo and next weekend’s Minnesota Horse Expo.

Pictures and more stories will be available on ASAP Inc.’s web site at www.4thehorses.com.
