Monticello, NY – The weather may have been damp and rainy on Monday (Oct. 7), but Greg Merton was hot as he won four races out of the eight-race program over a sloppy track. Ginger Spice ($3.30) would start the afternoon's quartet in race four, starting from post position five, the 12 Tinted Cloud mare scored a wire to wire win in 1:58, with a 5 length winning margin. Julio’s Girl ($4.60) won the following race in 1:57.2 for her 5th win of the season. Ginger Spice and Julio’s Girl are trained by Nick Surick.
