Running Aces moves Sunday post to 8:15 p.m.
Running Aces officials have moved the Sunday night (July 26) post time to 8:15 p.m. due to concerns related to projected high heat indexes. The card will feature the $50,000 Dan Patch FFA final and also offers a Mandatory Payout of the Pick-5 Jackpot which starts with a carryover of $45,280.62. The Pick-5 sequence gets started with the Dan Patch final, race number eight of 12.
Fast fillies at Pocono, but few favorites
Pennsylvania-sired stakes competition for 2-year-old pacing fillies featuring purses totaling $210,455 was held during the Sunday (July 19) twilight card at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania, with three divisions of Sire Stakes and four of Stallion Series. The stakes action followed in the early weekend’s trend of favorites not getting the job done. This second preliminary round ended with no double winners in either division, and only one chalk was victorious.
