Egloff, Katz, Reid to Hall of Fame; Giwner, Taylor to Communicators Hall
The United States Harness Writers Association, in conjunction with the Harness Racing Hall of Fame, is pleased to announce the election of Dr. John Egloff, Marvin Katz, and David Reid to the greatest honor in the industry, membership to the Hall of Fame. Burke enters Chapter Seven colts in $108,300 NYSS at Batavia Wednesday
Hall of Fame trainer Ron Burke, who last week scored his 16,000th career victory, will be racing a pair of 2-year-old Chapter Seven colts – AI and Who’s Eyes Blues – in the $108,300 New York Sire Stakes at Batavia Downs on Wednesday (Aug. 20) that will be contested as one seven-horse field.
OHHA to livestream races from Monroe and Defiance county fairs
The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association (OHHA) will continue its 2025 Ohio county fair racing season with livestreaming coverage from the Monroe County and Defiance County fairs on Tuesday and Wednesday (Aug. 19-20).
Leading Lady shows the way in Kentucky Championship Series

The 15-race card showcases freshman filly trotters in third-round action with three $30,000 divisions of the Kentucky Commonwealth Series, five $15,000 Kentucky Golden Rod Series legs and three rounds of the $10,000 Kentucky Wildcat Series.
