Harrah’s Hoosier Park is poised to kick off round one of eight of Indiana Sire Stakes for all four sophomore divisions on a special Memorial Day card on Monday (May 26). The 14-race card will begin with a first post of 6:15 p.m., featuring two divisions each of Indiana Sire Stakes for all four three-year-old divisions, in addition to six $16,000 ISS Eligible races to be contested on the evening.

Blank Stare (Tyler Miller) captures the featured $12,000 pace at Tioga Downs on Sunday (May 25).

Driver Rick Magee is no stranger to the Running Aces winner’s circle and in fact no stranger to significant success at Minnesota’s harness racing showplace.

Hunter Lofthus showed why he is the top dog in the Maine Amateur Driving Club (MADC), as the 36-year-old reinsman sat chilly on the outside for the three parts of the mile, ultimately outlasting being parked and the challenge of fresher foes to score once again. 

Trainer Noel Daley was on the mark Saturday (May 24) night at The Meadowlands, as he schooled the winners of both $225,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes finals for 3-year-olds on the pace.

Sippinonsearoc dominated his division of the $20,000 Buckeye Stallion Series at Eldorado Scioto Downs Saturday (May 24) winning the opener in 1:49.4.

The Kentucky Proud Series kicked off at the Lebanon Fairgrounds, with 26 races for 2 and 3-year-old KY-bred horses. The Washington County Fair featured a lot of young talent in all classes, highlighted by a track record in the 3-year-old colt pace. Geremy Bobbit captained the Rodney DeBeck trained Captain Arturovico (Captaintreacherous – Tilikum – Jereme’s Jet) to victory by 7-1/4 lengths in a new track record of 1:55.4. DeBeck had 3 other training wins on the day. 

Purple Lord (Jim Pantaleano) took the featured $12,000 trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (May 24).

Won Surreal Deal (Steeven Genois) captures the featured $8,500 Fillies & Mares Open Pace at Vernon Downs on Saturday (May 24).
