Pennsylvania fairs have two stops remaining
The Pennsylvania Fair Harness Racing Circuit will have its final two stops of the 2024 season this week: racing will take place on Sunday and Monday at noon at the Gratz (PA) Fairgrounds, and then the season closes at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday (September 20-21), with an 11 a.m. card scheduled at Bloomsburg both days.
PA Stallion Series Finals set records at Chester
On Sunday (September 8) afternoon, Harrah’s Philadelphia hosted the $320,000 Pennsylvania Stallion Series Championships for all eight stakes divisions, separated by age/sex, and gait. Each group of Pennsylvania-sired horses went for $40,000 in their respective Championship.
