On Tuesday (Sept. 9) The Red Mile will conduct a 15-race card with older male and female trotters competing in two $35,000 third round legs of the Kentucky Sire Stakes. These events will be supported by five $10,000 fifth round legs of the Kentucky Wildcat Series for freshman trotters and pacers of each sex.

Knockout Round had the most punch late to win the $13,500 featured pace for up-and-coming male pacers in 1:51, during a Sunday afternoon card at Harrah’s Philadelphia where the track condition improved from “sloppy” at the start to “good” and then to “fast” for the bulk of the racing.

Rosecroft readies for fall meet
Live racing action returns to Rosecroft Raceway on Monday (Sept. 15). Racing will be conducted each Monday and Thursday through December 18 with the usual 7:15 p.m. post time. There will be no racing on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving).
