The American Harness Drivers Club (AHDC), in its ongoing mission to help communities and communities in need, presented another donation aimed at cancer prevention and research on Sunday (August 13) at Harrah’s Philadelphia.

Falana Hanover edges out Proud Mary Tuesday at Pocono
Proud Mary came rollin’ on the river of slop in the Pocono Pike, but she was out finished by Falana Hanover, who won the female section of the $16,000 tri-features for pacers at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania. The final clocking was 1:53.2 over a track rated “sloppy” most of the day.
DSBF Finals headline huge Harrington Thursday card
Harrington Raceway’s richest program of the season will commence Thursday (July 27) during Governor’s Day at the Delaware State Fair. A 12-race program will await racing fans with purses exceeding $600,000 on the card, headlined by four $110,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) finals for 3-year-old horses and the $50,000 Governor’s Cup, a long-time staple on the program for the state’s top pacers ages 4 years old and up.
