Harrah’s Hoosier Park concludes season; Tetrick and Cullipher win titles
Harrah’s Hoosier Park concluded the 26th season of live harness racing with a 13-race card in front of a packed house on Saturday (Nov. 9). In addition to the racing action, the leading driver and trainer titles were awarded. On the driving side, Trace Tetrick secured his sixth consecutive and eighth leading driver title at Hoosier Park. Jeff Cullipher, who took home Hoosier Park’s top training honors in 2017 and 2018, was officially recognized as the leading trainer of the 2019 season.
Donttellmeagain tops final day of the Standardbred Horse Sale
Donttellmeagain, a 5-year-old male pacer with $779,011 in lifetime earnings, was the top seller at Friday’s final session of the Standardbred Horse Sale, purchased for $400,000 by Jon Paton. The gelding was one of six horses to sell for at least $250,000 during the second day of the auction’s mixed sale.
