Two very classy performers, one 10-years-old and the other 65, teamed up to score a popular victory in Northfield Park’s weekly Great Lakes Amateur Driving Association event on Sunday (Oct. 22).

Chad Morrison got his first pari-mutuel win on Sunday (Oct. 22), piloting Merito Hanover (Bettor’s Delight) to a 1:57.1 win in the $12,000 USHDC pace at Cumberland Run.

The United States Harness Drivers Club made Sunday (Oct. 22) “extra special” with yet another donation to Goshen, N.Y.’s Harness Racing Museum.

Two-year-old pacers and trotters of both sexes will take center stage this weekend at Shenandoah Downs as the final round of Virginia Breeder’s prep and elimination races take place in advance of the $702,200 “Day of Champions” card on Sunday (Oct, 29). Prep races are slated Saturday in the colt/gelding trot and Sunday in the filly and colt/gelding pace while a pair of elimination races will occur Saturday in the filly trot.

The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association is awarding 14 scholarships, totaling $15,000, to college students for the 2023-2024 academic year.
