Jody grinded out a victory and won back-to-back races in the Mares Open Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday (March 13) night.

London, ON – March 13, 2024 — El Toro Loco added his name to the Western Fair record books on Wednesday (March 13) evening as he captured the evening’s Preferred Handicap Trot in 1:56, equalling the record for older trotting geldings which was held jointly by Brawn Seelster (2008) and Platoon Seelster (2016).

Hamburg, NY – Shooting Brooke ($5.90) had her guns blazing at the top of the long home stretch at Buffalo Raceway on Wednesday afternoon (March 6) and she gunned down the field in the featured $10,400 pace for the fillies and mares.

Dover, DE – Tae survived the elements and a late closing Jody to win the Mares Conditioned Pace at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday (Feb. 28) night. Last week, Jody defeated Tae narrowly at the wire. Tonight the tables were turned as Tae held on to defeat Jody at the wire.

Batavia, NY — The finals of the Western New York Trackmaster Series for trotters were held at Batavia Downs on Thursday (Feb. 22) and in the main event, Flyhawk El Fuerte pulled off the upset in the $20,000 TM79 division.

Dover, DE – Penzance Hanover benefitted from a perfect journey and won the Blue Hen/ Open Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover on Thursday (Feb. 22) night.
