Results from USTA District 3 meeting in Sacramento
Columbus, OH – Members from the United States Trotting Association’s District 3 gathered on Sunday (January 22) at the Hilton Arden West in Sacramento, California for the district’s annual meeting. Helmed by district chairman Ivan Axelrod and fellow directors Ben Kenney and David Siegel, the session saw the group debate 18 rule changes and three bylaw proposals. In the end, 10 were accepted and 10 were rejected, with one submission tabled for further discussion. Axelrod was re-elected to another terms as district chairman.

MHHA Aged Pacer and Trotter Awards released
Howell, MI – Lying in Cash (Aracache Hanover) captured Michigan’s Aged Pacer of the Year honors and shared in the Headliner Award honors with fellow aged pacer Catch Me Conrad. Lying in Cash had 10 wins in 2022, eight of those at the Open level at Northville Downs, and earned over $68,000 in Michigan earnings. Lying In Cash has been given a short vacation from racing and will resume his 2023 campaign this Spring and Summer at Northville Downs.
