Columbus, OH – Buckeye Stallion Series action continued with the third leg for 2-year-old colt pacers on Wednesday (Aug 24) at Eldorado Scioto Downs. Four divisions hosted 38 freshmen completing for a total of $70,000. Driver Aaron Merriman was hot in the sulky, winning three of the four BSS divisions.

MGM Northfield Park to host Ohio Fairs Consolation races on Oct. 29
Northfield, OH – MGM Northfield Park will host eight Ohio County Fair Consolation events as part of their racing card on Saturday night, October 29. While the Ohio County Fair Championships (scheduled for October 15 at MGM Northfield) have been around for several years, this is the first time Consolations for horses that did not make the County Fair Championships will be contested.
